Enrollment for CLASS starting soon
Salina Public Library’s Community Learning and Skill Sharing program invites you to Pick Your Passion. The CLASS fall semester features 58 courses that offer the chance to learn new skills and meet new people. Registration begins Aug. 6.
New classes this semester include Grilling and Tailgating 101, Playin’ with the Penguins, Preserving Your Photographs, Sewing Machine 101 and Oh La La: French Wines. For the first time this fall, CLASS will offer hands-on cooking classes at Kitchen 4 Hire. Old favorites, such as Evening Yoga, Fine Wines From Around the World and Xeriscaping, Not Zeroscaping also will be offered. Check out all the courses in the CLASS catalog.
Fall catalogs are available at the library and various locations around town. The catalog also can be found on the library’s website and has been mailed to past CLASS participants.
The Community Learning Center, 308 W. Elm, will be open for in-person registrations from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Aug. 6-9 and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday thereafter. Registration and payment can be left in the Community Learning Center drop box after hours. Registration also is available online with a credit card at www.salinapubliclibrary.org or by mailing a registration form and payment to CLASS –Salina Public Library, 301 W. Elm, Salina, KS 67401. Participants’ spots in a class will not be held until payment is received. Registration deadlines for each course are listed in the catalog.
