Historian Will Sign Copies of New Book At Library
“Salina’s Historic Downtown” is a companion work to “Salina: 1858-2008” published by Arcadia Publishing. It focuses on Salina’s original town site – North Street to South Street, Front to Ninth. Douglass used the photographic archives at the library to illustrate the book.
Douglass has more than 40 years writing and lecturing. She is the owner of Historical Matters and has worked for Smoky Hill Museum, Kansas Humanities Council and the American Association of Museums.
