Library Offers Classes On Digital Services
Salina Public Library offers several digital download services that are perfect for computers, tablets or smart phones. The library also offers classes to help the public learn how to use these services.
Sunflower eLibrary lets library-card holders check out ebooks, audiobooks and videos. OneClick Digital offers
a large selection of audiobooks. Zinio lets users download popular magazines with interactive features. All of these
services can be found on the library’s website – www.salinapubliclibrary.org – under the “Virtual Library” tab.
To help new users learn how to navigate these services, the library will offer Gadgets for Mobile Reading, an
overview class, at noon Jan. 2 and 11:30 a.m. Jan. 18. Classes on Zinio will be at noon Jan. 15 and 1 p.m. Jan. 23; on
Sunflower eLibrary at 2:15 p.m. Jan. 22; and on OneClick Digital at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 16. All classes will be in the Technology
Center Training Lab, are free and do not require registration. Attendees should bring their library card number and know
any passwords necessary to access their device.
A full schedule of the library’s technology classes can be found on the library’s online calendar. For more
information, please contact Helen Gregg at email@example.com, 825-4624, ext. 248, or visit the library at 301 W. Elm.
